Member At Large

The Section Officers are elected annually and have monthly meetings to discuss events, collaboration with other sections and bar associations, and to brainstorm on how it can contribute to the Sacramento-area legal community, as well as the community in general.  All members are invited to attend Section Officer meetings to join in the discussion.

  • The Immigration Law Section of the Sacramento County Bar Association provides educational opportunities for Sacramento County Bar members regarding important and current developments in the field of immigration law.  In addition to serving immigration law practitioners, the Immigration Law Section will offer events explaining the impact of federal immigration law upon topics of relevance and importance to other areas of law, including family, criminal and business law, among others.  Members of other sections are welcome and encouraged to attend events held by the Immigration Law Section in order to stay informed of and further explore how the intricacies of federal immigration law touch upon their own area of practice.  The objective and mission of the Immigration Law section is to improve and expand the ability of attorneys from all areas of practice to represent non-citizen clients as well as the entities who regularly employ or serve non-citizens.
