Sacramento County Bar Association Environmental Law Section
Offers varied and dynamic expert speakers in numerous areas of environmental law. The Environmental law Section has more than 150 members, representing both private and public sectors. The section hosts monthly lunch meetings on a wide range of topics relevant to environmental practitioners, including the environmental review process, natural resource regulatory issues, environmental legislation updates; air and water quality, environmental forensics, environmental criminal law, toxicology, smart growth and land use issues, and flood control. Speakers include leading environmental law practitioners and environmental scientists, as well as state and local regulators and legislators.
2018 SECTION OFFICERS
The Section Officers are elected annually and have monthly meetings to discuss events, collaboration with other sections and bar associations, and to brainstorm on how it can contribute to the Sacramento-area legal community, as well as the community in general. All members are invited to attend Section Officer meetings to join in the discussion.
- The Section hosts monthly lunch meetings on a wide range of topics relevant to environmental practitioners, including environmental criminal law, regulatory and master planning issues, toxicology, environmental legislation updates, drinking water, air quality, environmental forensics, water quality, smart growth, and flood control.
- Speakers include leading environmental law practitioners and environmental scientists, as well as state and local regulators and legislators. MCLE credit has been given for each meeting. Any attorney wishing to participate in Section meetings and activities can do so by calling any of the above officers and joining our section. We look forward to your participation.
