Kronick Moskovitz Tiedemann & Girard is currently seeking an Associate Attorney to join its Labor and Employment practice group.  Prefer between 4-6 years of labor and employment law experience, including litigation experience representing management in labor and employment disputes.  Candidate must be highly motivated, self-sufficient, and have a high level of dedication and discipline.

Primary responsibilities involves working regularly with private sector and public agency clients by providing both litigation support and day-to-day guidance on a variety of labor and employment matters.  Duties will include, but not be limited to:

  • Litigation in all phases of the firm’s labor and employment practice, including law and motion practice, written discovery, depositions, drafting pleadings, pretrial preparation, witness and exhibit preparation, trial and appeals, etc.
  • Researching and advising clients on personnel and employment related issues

Qualification Requirements

  • 4-6 years of labor and employment law experience preferred
  • Exceptional writing skills and a strong academic background
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex documents
  • Ability to effectively work with people, exercise sound judgment, and establish and maintain professional relationships with clients and colleagues

are expected to work under time constraints, client and department guidelines,
and to abide by ethical and professional standards. Our highly skilled deputies
provide creative, proactive, and progressive litigation strategies. The division
seeks experienced trial and appellate attorneys with excellent oral and written
advocacy, analytical, and research skills. Deputies are given the opportunity and
responsibility to participate in all aspects of civil litigation, including jury trials and
oral argument. The California Attorney General’s Office is committed to providing
