The Annual Bench Bar Reception Honors Judge Connie Callahan

On June 29, 2006, the Sacramento County Bar Association, in conjunction with the Wiley W. Manuel Bar Association, Women Lawyers of Sacramento, the Federal Bar Association, the Barristers' Club and Sac L.E.G.A.L., hosted Sacramento's annual Bench Bar Reception at the Sterling Hotel. During this gala, the Sacramento legal community presented the Judge of the Year award to the Honorable Consuelo M. Callahan, Circuit Judge, Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. Moreover, the legal community acknowledged, welcomed, and congratulated the following new Sacramento judicial appointees: Judges Raoul M. Thorbourne, Eugene L. Balonon, Michael A. Savage, Michael W. Sweet and Commissioners Ana M. Bravo and Delbert W. Oros. The Sacramento County Bar Association thanks Bunmi Awoyini and Renee Carter for organizing this successful fete and Ken Rabiroff for capturing the event through his photography.
