Justice Scotland Honored As SCBA Judge
Of The Year At Bench and Bar Reception

| Third Appellate District Presiding Justice Arthur G. Scotland was honored as the SCBA Judge of the Year for 2004 at the annual Bench and Bar Reception in June. The reception also honored the three members of the Sacramento Superior Court who have been appointed since last year's reception: Judges Steve White, Robert Hight, and Allen Sumner. Sacramento County Public Law Librarian Shirley H. David, who is retiring from the law library this fall, and Judge James Mize, the recipient of the 2004 Frances Newell Carr Award from Women Lawyers of Sacramento, were also honored. |
