The Sacramento Law Foundation would like to thank the following individuals and firms who contributed to its instant wine cellar raffle, which was held at the Bench and Bar Reception in June. Generous donations from friends and members of the legal community provided a variety of wine ranging in value from $20 to $200 a bottle. This year SLF varied its format, and instead of awarding the entire “instant wine cellar” to one person, three lucky individuals received three cases, two cases and one case, respectively. SLF owes a debt of gratitude to the late Bion Gregory, 2003 SCBA President and SLF Board member, who used his well-honed wine knowledge to equitably distribute the donated wine. This year’s lucky recipients were V. Blair Shahbazian, Gerald Kossow and Robert Sullivan. The instant wine cellar was again a huge success and yielded a profit of $5340. The wine donated by individuals was labeled with the donor’s name and a list of those who donated is included below.
