University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law announces that United States Assistant Secretary of the Interior Craig Manson returns to Pacific McGeorge faculty after serving four years as Assistant Secretary of the Interior for Fish and Wildlife and Parks.
Manson was serving as a Sacramento Superior Court judge before President George W. Bush nominated him for the Interior Department post. He had served as General Counsel of the California Department of Fish & Game from 1993 to 1998 after being in private practice in Sacramento from 1989 to 1993.
A graduate of the United States Air Force Academy, Mr. Manson served on active duty in the Air Force from 1976 to 1989. He was also a colonel in the California Air National Guard. His military awards include the Legion of Merit and the Meritorious Service Medal with one oak leaf cluster.
Manson received his law degree in 1981 with great distinction from Pacific McGeorge, where he was named Outstanding Graduating Senior, served as Editor-in-Chief of the Pacific Law Review, and was elected to the Order of the Coif. From 1993 to 2001, Manson was an adjunct professor at Pacific McGeorge. The 2004 Pacific McGeorge Alumnus of the Year Award winner will teach Administrative Law.

Mr. Ruano earned his law degree in 2005 from McGeorge School of Law, with a concentration in tax and his B.A. in 1999 from Stanford University. The firm's practice will continue to include business, real estate, estate planning and general civil litigation.

Dollison joins McDonough after five years with Sacramento law firm, Kronick Moskovitz Tiedemann & Girard. Dollison focuses on real estate transactions for public and private clients. Dollison serves on the Development Committee of the Sacramento Area Commerce and Trade Organization (SACTO) and is a member of the Association of Commercial Real Estate (ACRE), Sacramento County Bar Association, and State Bar of California, Real Property and Business Law Sections. Dollison earned his J.D. from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law (1996) and his B.A. from Nebraska Wesleyan University (1990).
