Addresses Local Federal Bar Members

On February 3, 2004, the Sacramento Chapter of the FBA honored U.S. District Chief Judge Emeritus William B. Shubb and Chief Judge David F. Levi for their dedicated service and support for the federal bar in and beyond the Eastern District of California. The luncheon was held at the Sutter Club and many members of the Sacramento legal community attended to honor the distinguished jurists. The keynote speaker for the luncheon was the Dean of Stanford Law School, Kathleen Sullivan, who spoke on current issues of constitutional law and the federal judiciary's role in interpreting and enforcing the constitution.
