Attorney Convenience Center Opens
at the Sacramento Superior Court

Sacramento Superior Court is pleased to announce the opening of the Attorney Convenience Center on February 28, 2002. The Attorney Convenience Center is located in Room 402 at the downtown courthouse and offers attorneys a quiet atmosphere to work or conduct research between court appearances. Use of this room is restricted to attorneys only; clients are not permitted.

Furnishings for this room were donated by the Sacramento County Law Library and include: four individual work carrels, a conference table for six, and a sofa. In addition, the Court has provided two telephones (with restricted service to local calls only), and two modem lines for laptop hook-ups. In the near future, the Law Library will also be donating a computer with Internet connections to LoisLaw, Westlaw, and other similar research programs.

To restrict unauthorized access into the Attorney Convenience Center, the door into this room requires an access code.
