Founded
in 1982, the Explorit Science Center has a 20- year history of
educational service to the greater Sacramento region. Explorit
is a non-profit informal science center with both on-site and
traveling outreach programs that provide schools, home schools,
teachers, Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, families and community organizations
with interactive, high quality science and education. Guided by
the mission to involve people in science experiences that
touch our lives, Explorit engages diverse audiences in activities
that allow them to see, feel, hear, touch and do science. Explorit
serves approximately 35,000 people per year.
