On November 6, 2006, Women Lawyers of Sacramento held its annual California Supreme Court reception at the Discovery Museum in Old Sacramento. As usual, this gala drew large numbers of attendees. A festive event, people milled around partaking in excellent food and wine, lively talk and the museum's new exhibits. Some in the crowd included Presiding Justice of the California Supreme Court Ronald George, Associate Justice Ming Chin and his spouse, Carol Chin, Associate Justice of the 3rd DCA Vance W. Raye, Presiding Justice, 3rd DCA, Arthur Scotland, Associate Justice Carol A. Corrigan, newly-appointed Judge James E.
