is the first “surfing” sidebar
that actually focuses on websites related to the water within
and surrounding the federal, state, and local agencies control
the water, generate power from it, monitor water quality, work
with conservation groups, provide recreational opportunities,
and educate about it. Here are a few comprehensive sites that

U.S. Corp of Engineers South Pacific Division. Includes quality
management plans, reports, procedures for appeals, maps, and emergency

site is extensive. Includes direct links to all the agencies within
the department. Includes items such as water project maps, the
State Water Plan, the California Well Standards, energy contracts,
spot market reports, and litigation documents.

orders, links to the water code and regulations, proposed regulations,
