Artist Shows Works At SCBA Office

The Sacramento County Bar Association will be featuring the work of local artists for sale in our office. We invite you to drop by our office, located at 901 H Street, Suite 101, in Sacramento and take a look at our first showing by Brenda Boles. Boles specializes in watercolors and pastels.

Boles describes her process of painting as "both intuitive and intellectual. When I am laying down colors and images, I want to draw you, the viewer in - create an interaction, an emotional response between you and my painting. Some of my paintings are representational, some are abstract. Many come from my imagination. I love color and with my expressionistic style, I try to capture and express the essence, the feeling - rather than the mere image. I find it fascinating the way art and colors can calm the soul or fill the spirit with joy and excitement."

Ms. Boles' paintings will be shown in the SCBA office in January and February.
