photoJay-Allen Eisen has been elected to membership in the American Academy of Appellate Lawyers. Eisen, a shareholder in Eisen & Johnson Law Corporation, specializes in civil appeals, writs, trial court motion practice and related matters. Eisen has practiced since 1969. He won his first case in the California Supreme Court in 1971. He has been counsel in more than 250 appeals and appellate writ proceedings, more than 75 of which have resulted in reported decisions. Eisen received his law degree at Hastings College of Law in 1968 and his BA at the University of California, Berkeley, in 1965.

Filing Documents in the Superior Court Appellate Division of Sacramento

In an effort to streamline processes in the Superior Court Appellate Division, effective October 1, 2001, all documents shall be filed with the clerk of the appeals support unit at the Appellate Division counter of the Sacramento Superior Court. The Appeals Support Unit is on the first floor of the main courthouse located at 720 Ninth Street, Room 101, Sacramento, CA 95814.
