Barristers Holds Federal Nuts And Bolts Seminar
By Adrienne Brungess

On June 13, 2002 the Sacramento Barristers' Club presented its annual Federal Nuts and Bolts seminar. The event, "An Introduction to Federal Practice in the Eastern District of California," was held at the United States District Court for the Eastern District and was preceded by wine and hors d'oevres in the foyer outside the courtroom.

Attendees included attorneys and summer associates from local law firms. The seminar was presented in two parts: Civil Federal Practice and Bankruptcy. The Civil Federal Practice Panel consisted of the Eastern District Chief Judge William B. Shubb, Chief Magistrate Judge Gregory G. Hollows, Pillsbury Winthrop LLP attorney Greg L. Johnson, Assistant United States Attorney Courtney Linn, and Keith Holland, operations manager for the Office of the Clerk of the United States District Court.

The Bankruptcy Panel members were Bankruptcy Judge Christopher M. Klein and Steven H. Felderstein of Felderstein, Fitzgerald, Willoughby & Pascuzzi, LLP.

The Sacramento Barristers' Club thanks all the distinguished panel members, and all attendees, for their participation in one of the club's most well attended and successful events of the year.
